Many enthusiast detailers use a pre wax polish right before a car show as it can help hide minor imperfections and increase the gloss on the paint. On lighter coloured cars we highly recommend Poorboys White Diamond Show Glaze this will clean dirt out fine swirl marks. Then fillers hide the swirl marks to create the illusion of super smooth paint, white, silver, and light coloured paints will shine like diamonds!
On metallic finishes and dark colours we would recommend a car finishing polish like Sonus SFX-3 Final Finish Polish or Poorboy Black Hole Show Glaze to produce stunning depth and gloss.
Show Car Glaze Polishes are great on new and like new paint finishes, but if your car is covered with swirls and scratches, we recommend using one of our polishing compounds or a scratch and swirl removers to remove oxidation, swirl marks, scratches and water spot marks. for the best results prior to protecting your cars paint we highly recommend the use of a pre wax polish, finishing polish or show car glaze.
Remember when using a car glaze they offer little or no paint protection, just adding more gloss to the paint, so follow with a wax or sealant to lock in a show car shine.
