After you have polished and wax to perfection finish off your detail by cleaning your cars glass. A dirty windscreen is not only unsafe, it detracts the look of your freshly detailed vehicle. The products used in this guide will help you clean your windscreen and glass, leaving it so clear it may look as if the glass is invisible!

Be sure to thoroughly wash and dry your vehicle to remove loose dirt prior to starting your glass cleaning and polishing process.

STEP One

Regular washing or glass cleaning wont remove bonded contamination from your windscreen or glass, the use of the Clay Magic Perfect Finsh Kit will restore your glass to a silky slick feel.

Application Instructions

• Make sure glass surface to be clean is free of loose debris. 
• Flatten a 1-2 oz. piece of detailing clay into a wafer.
• Lightly mist the detailing clay and a 2' by 2' area to be cleaned with spray lubricant.  
• Gently rub the wafer of detail clay on the glass until contamination is gone. 
• Mold clay and re-flatten frequently to expose a fresh cleaning surface. 
• Discard clay if dropped or when a clean surface can no longer be exposed.    

STEP Two

Now that the bonded contamination is gone it is time to get to polishing off that stubborn film of road grime. Autoglym Glass Polish is a mechanical and chemical cleaner so you will need to use a little elbow grease or pull out your dual action polisher and work by machine.

Application Instructions

• Apply a small amount of Autoglym Glass Polish to the Cobra Microfibre Applicator.
• Start by applying the polish over a small area in back and forth motions until polish is spread evenly. 
• With pressure, rub polish in small circular motions until area has been polished well and the polish starts to go clear.
• Remove remaining Autoglym Glass Polish with a microfibre detailing cloth. Repeat process over the entire windshield and all exterior glass windows.

IMPORTANT! Never use on tinted interior window glass.

STEP Three

The combination of a quality microfibre detailing cloth and an ammonia free glass cleaner is your final step to streak free windshields and glass. The Stoner Invisible Glass is safe to use inside and out, even on tinted windows and offers consistent results.

• Mist the Stoner Invisible Glass onto windscreen or glass.
• Using a Detailers Preference Microfibre Detailing Cloth wipe area clean, in a horizontal back and forth motion. Going in a horizontal motion on the outside and an up and down motion on the inside will help you determine if any final streaks are on the inside or outside of your glass.
• As you are cleaning, turn and fold your microfibre cloth often to expose a clean dry side is being used. Repeat the process over the entire windscreen and glass windows.
• If your Detailers Preference Microfibre Detailing Cloth becomes too dirty or damp, replace with a fresh clean cloth. A damp microfibre will cause just streaks!

Interior Glass Cleaning

Cleaning your interior glass is the easy part.  Use a quality Microfibre Detailing Cloth and the Stoner Invisble Glass Cleaner will usually do the trick. If your interior windshield or windows are extremely dirty you may use the Autoglym Glass Polish process but ONLY on non-tinted glass.

Application Instructions

• Mist a small amount of the Stoner Invisble Glass Cleaner onto a Detailers Preference Microfibre Detaling Cloth.
• Start at the top corner of your windscreen and work in an up and down motion.
• As you are cleaning, turn and fold your microfibre cloth often to expose a clean dry side is being used.
• Repeat the process over entire windscreen and glass windows.
• If your Detailers Preference Microfibre Detailing Cloth becomes too dirty or damp, replace with a fresh clean cloth. A damp microfibre will just cause streaks!

Final Step

The final step is to protect and seal the glass with Ultima Paint Guard Plus, water will just run off your glass providing better visibility in the rain. The slick surface also helps contaminants such as tar and bugs bonding to the glass making clean ups easier

Application Instructions

• Use sparingly and mist a small amount of the Ultima Paint Guard Plus onto the Ultima Autospa Microfibre Protectant Applicator.
• Start by spreading out in circular motions over a 2' by 2' area, then spread in a horizontal back and forth motion until all product has been spread out and is streak free.
• Repeat the process to entire windscreen and glass windows and allow to cure.
